What Canvas is

It's the vertical video that loops behind your song while it plays on mobile, on Spotify. Songs with a Canvas get shared and saved more.

Vertical (9:16) and 3 to 8 seconds long. The template makes it 8 s, at 1080 × 1920.
No sound: Spotify plays your song.
No distracting text, no URLs or calls to follow on socials, and no rapid cuts or flashing.
Looping: the template ends on the same framing it starts with, so the jump isn't noticeable.
The Soundtropic mark is just the eye, small and without “soundtropic.com”. If you add sound or make it longer than 8 s, it's no longer a Canvas and gets the full mark.

Open the video studio and create a video with your song (it has to be published on Soundtropic).
In the «Templates» tab, choose «Spotify Canvas». It uses your cover and, if you add photos, the first one too.
Export it and upload it in Spotify for Artists: your song → Canvas → Add.

To upload a Canvas you need access to Spotify for Artists with your artist profile (your distributor gives it to you).
