01Who provides the service

Soundtropic is a service of NAYSOF IBÉRICA, S.L., Tax ID B93682623, registered office at Paseo de Reding 43, 1º Izda, 29016 Málaga (España). You can write to us at hola@naysof.es. Full details are in the Legal notice.

02What Soundtropic is

Soundtropic is a talent show for music created with artificial intelligence. Creators upload their songs, the audience listens and votes blind, licensed judges score them and the best ones reach the weekly Top 10, the home page and the live shows.

Nobody can pay to climb the ranking. The terms of the Pro plan and the rules of each contest with prizes are published separately before they start, and they complement these terms.

03Who can use Soundtropic

  • Listening and voting: anyone with an account. If you are under 14, you need permission from your parent or guardian to create one.
  • Uploading songs: adults (18+) only. We will ask you to confirm it in your account before your first upload.
  • One account per person. You are responsible for what happens with it: do not share your password.

04The golden rule: AI-made music only

Only songs whose audio was generated entirely with an accepted AI tool on a paid plan that allows you to publish them can enter Soundtropic.

  • You may use lyrics you wrote yourself, as long as you declare it when uploading.
  • Voices or instruments recorded by people are not allowed, nor are voice models of other people. A model of your own voice is only allowed if you ask us first and we verify your identity.
  • Being made with AI does not make a song legal. If it copies someone else's melody, lyrics or recording, or imitates a real person's voice, it is still forbidden.

Details are in the AI & rights policy.

05Accepted tools and plans

This table is read live from our database. We review it every quarter because tools change their terms often.

Other tools—
  • All plans
  • The paid plan must be active when you generate and when you download the song. Upgrading later does not cover earlier songs.
  • Udio is not accepted: its terms forbid publishing its songs on platforms like Soundtropic.
  • Other tools are not accepted for now either. If you want to suggest one, write to us.

06What we ask when you upload a song

  • The tool, the plan and the date you generated the song. If the song is public in that tool, you can also give us its link (optional).
  • The original file you downloaded from the tool, without editing the audio. Better not to re-tag it: that way its origin seal stays complete. The title, cover art and other details are added on Soundtropic.
  • Proof of your plan (a screenshot of the billing page or the invoice). It is optional when uploading, but if the file has no origin seal it lets the song go live without waiting for a person, and it is required to enter the Top 10.
  • The lyrics, if any, and who wrote them: the AI, you or both.
  • Whether you are a member of SGAE, AIE, AGEDI or another collecting society.
  • Some declarations, stored with date and time: that the song is AI-made, that you used a paid plan, that the file is the original, that there is no real person's voice, that your prompt did not include other people's names, lyrics or audio, that you have the right to upload it, that you grant the Creator license to NAYSOF and that you accept the “Made with AI” label.

Lying in a declaration or in the proof is a serious offence.

07How we check: automatic and, if there is a risk, human

As soon as you upload it, every song goes through some automatic checks. They follow fixed rules: we do not use generative AI to decide. We check:

  1. 1The origin seal. We read the digital provenance seal (C2PA or “Content Credentials”) that some tools add to the file and check whether it comes from the tool you declare.
  2. 2Official verification. For Suno songs we also ask Suno's official service whether Suno generated it.
  3. 3The audio fingerprint. We compare the audio with other Soundtropic songs and with those already removed, to catch duplicates, re-uploads and reused parts.
  4. 4The lyrics. We compare their lines with the other lyrics on Soundtropic to catch copies.
  5. 5Your proof and your track record. We take into account whether you attached proof of your plan and whether you already have songs published without issues.

With that result:

  • It goes live on its own if there is no risk. For example: the seal comes from the tool you declare or Suno confirms it is theirs (if the file was edited after it was signed, for example its tags, we say so); or there is no seal, but you attached proof of your plan or already have at least three songs published without issues. And, in every case, it does not resemble other people's songs or removed or rejected songs.
  • A person reviews it only if there is a risk: it resembles someone else's song or a removed or rejected one, the lyrics match another song, the seal does not match the declared tool, there is no way to check its origin, you are a member of a collecting society, some information is missing or one of the checks could not be done.
  • It is rejected automatically only in two clear cases: you had already uploaded that same song, or it matches one we already removed. We tell you the decision was automated and you can appeal.
  • Enhanced verification. Before a song enters the Top 10, plays on the home page or at a live show, a team member reviews it in depth: ownership, plan, lyrics, voice, title and cover art.

The link to the song in the tool is optional and only used by the person reviewing it: the automatic checks work on the file itself.

Depending on the result, your song can be:

StatusWhat it means
Being verifiedWe are running the automatic checks.
PublishedIt passed the automatic checks. It can be played and voted on.
Manual reviewThe checks found a possible risk and a person needs to look at it.
Enhanced verificationIt also passed the full human review. Only these songs can enter the published Top 10, play on the home page or at a live show and win prizes.
RejectedIt does not meet the rules. We tell you why and whether the decision was automated.
Provisionally removedThere is a report or a serious doubt and we have hidden it while it is reviewed.
RemovedIt has been removed permanently.
  • No automatic detector is infallible. That is why automatic rejections are limited to the two clear cases above, a person always reviews a partial match or a possible version of another work, and we never apply a penalty (strikes, suspension or account closure) based only on an automated tool.
  • Our filters must not block uses the law allows, such as quotation, criticism, review, caricature, parody or pastiche. If you think your song is one of them, say so in your appeal.

08Moderation and content removal

  • Anyone, with or without an account, can tell us about illegal content or content that breaks these rules through the Report form. They get an acknowledgement of receipt straight away.
  • If the rights holder, or the person whose voice, name or image was used, tells us, we provisionally remove the song within 48 hours (usually instantly) while a person reviews it.
  • While a song is reported or removed, we freeze its votes, prizes and featured spots. If it was playing on the home page, we switch straight away to the next verified song. At a live show we can cut the audio or the broadcast.
  • If you hold intellectual property rights and we do not remove the content within 3 days of your request, you can go to the Second Section of Spain's Intellectual Property Commission.
  • Every decision that affects you (rejection, removal, disqualification, demotion in the ranking, frozen prizes or account suspension) comes with a statement of reasons: what we did, based on which facts, whether the decision was taken or detected by automated means, which rule we relied on and how you can appeal.
  • If someone frequently sends clearly unfounded reports (for example, pretending to be the rights holder), we may stop processing their notices for a while, after warning them.
  • If we detect a threat to someone's life or safety, we will inform the authorities.

09Penalties by level

Penalties depend on how serious the breach is and whether there was bad faith:

LevelExamplesConsequence
MinorIncomplete details or a wrong label, without bad faith.Warning and correction.
MediumSong removed after a valid report. Invalid plan declared in good faith.Removal, disqualification, frozen prizes for that song and 1 strike.
SeriousLying in the declaration or the proof. Tampering with the digital seal. Uploading a commercial recording. Cloning a real person's voice. Knowingly copying someone else's lyrics.Removal, loss of pending prizes, upload ban of 30 to 90 days and 2 strikes.
Very serious3 strikes in 12 months. A real person's voice with sexual or degrading content. Organised vote fraud.Account closure and loss of prizes.
  • Strikes expire after 12 months.
  • If we discover a breach after a prize has been paid, we may claim it back under the contest rules.
  • Every penalty comes with its statement of reasons and can be appealed.

10How to appeal

If you disagree with a decision about your song or your account, you can appeal from My songs, on the affected song, or by writing to hola@naysof.es.

  • It is always reviewed by a person, never by a machine.
  • We reply with a reasoned decision within 10 working days at most.
  • While it is being resolved, the affected song is not available to the public, as Spanish law requires (art. 73.10 of Royal Decree-law 24/2021).
  • If we agree with you, we restore the song and, where appropriate, its votes and position.
  • You can also use the mediation service of the First Section of Spain's Intellectual Property Commission (Ministry of Culture). None of this prevents you from going to court.

11Your songs and the license to NAYSOF

  • Uploading a song does not take away any rights you have over it. For Soundtropic to work, you grant us a non-exclusive license, explained in the Creator license.
  • You are responsible for what you upload. If someone makes a claim against NAYSOF because your declarations were false, you will have to cover it as set out in that license.
  • Soundtropic does not train AI on your songs and does not let others do so through the platform.

12Using the platform properly

It is forbidden to:

  • Manipulate votes or plays: bots, multiple accounts, buying or swapping votes.
  • Harass, threaten or insult other people, or post content that incites hatred.
  • Impersonate another person or pretend to be another artist.
  • Copy Soundtropic data in bulk (scraping) or try to get around its security measures.
  • Use it for anything illegal.

13Liability

  • Soundtropic hosts songs uploaded by its users. We act diligently when we are told about illegal content, but we do not review everything before it is published.
  • Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

14Changes to these terms

If we change something important, we will let you know reasonably in advance. The version and date of this text are shown at the top of the page.

15Contact and governing law

  • Point of contact for users and authorities: hola@naysof.es. We answer in Spanish and English, and a person will reply.
  • To report content, use the Report form.
  • Spanish law applies. If you are a consumer, you can bring a claim before the courts where you live.
